Welcome to the Washington University Campus Y! Serving the Wash U community since 1911, the organization offers 21 community service programs that are student-led and student-run. More than 800 students participate in our programs each year, providing much-needed services throughout the community.
Campus Y History and Mission

The Washington University in St. Louis Campus YMCA was chartered on campus in 1911, but was interrupted by World War I and was reorganized in 1924.

The Campus Y has been an active student organization on campus ever since, offering a wide variety of programs to meet the needs of the students, Washington University and the greater St. Louis community.

Today, the Campus Y at Washington University in St. Louis has 24 programs and we are always interested in students' ideas for more!

The Campus Y is a student-centered organization dedicated to developing ethical leaders of exemplary character by applying the principles of the YMCA of Greater St. Louis in partnership with Washington University in St. Louis.
