Washington County Farm Tour
Take a trip to the local farms in Washington County Mo. Stop by and visit as many as you would like. Below are the farms
that will be on the tour this year.
1. Washington County Farmers' Marketplace. Kick off your day at the Taste & Explore Washington Marketplace! Find locally grown fresh fruits, vegetables, informational booth, and craft vendors from all over the ozarks. Location: Washington County Courthouse 102 N Main Street Potosi Mo
2. Evans Homestead. The Evans homestead offers fresh produce, fruit trees & farm animals. Check out the farm stand where you can buy produce, baked goods, jams & fresh eggs Location: 14194 State Hwy P Potosi Mo
3. Big River Alpaca Farm. a local alpaca farm thats been in business for over 20 years. You will be able to feed interact with the alpacas & llamas. Also get some great pictures of the animals to show all your friends. There is also a boutique on the farm that sells items made of alpaca fiber. Alpaca fiber is warmer than wool, hypoallergenic and wicks away moisture. Location: 10622 Calico Rd Fletcher Mo
4. Bluff View Farms: A local farm destination where visitors can dig for crystals & minerals across 300 scenic acres in Potosi. Free admission, $30 cash fee per 5-gallon bucket of your rock finds. Location: 16382 State Hwy 185 Potosi Mo
5. Edg-Clif Farms & Vineyard A third generation farm repurposed as a vineyard, winery & brewery. Enjoy the vintage setting and beautiful organic vegetable & flower gardens! Location: 10035 Edg-Cliff Drive Potosi Mo
6. YMCA of the Ozarks Equine Ranch. While there you can meet the more than 40 horses housed at the camp, & learn about the different equine programs that are offered at Trout Lodge & Camp Lakewood. Open 12-5 during Farm Tour. Location: 13528 State Hwy AA Potosi Mo
7. Windwalker Ridge Mustang Sanctuary: Our mission is to provide sanctuary for displaced mustangs who have been rounded up and removed from their home ranges & keep family bands together Location: 24130 W State Hwy 8 Potosi Mo
8. United States Forest Service: The Potosi Ranger District is part of Mark Twain National Forest & covers more than 201,000 acres across Washington, Iron, Reynolds & Crawford Counties Location: 10019 West Hwy 8 Potosi Mo
9. Old Caledonian B&B: Enjoy, relax, dine & stay at the old Caledonian B&B an 1848 historic mansion. They grow lavender for their own products, they have goats, sheep & chickens. Location: 116 S State Hwy 21 Caledonia Mo
10. Rocking Goat Farms: The farm features Nubian goatss, emus & various poultry. They provide fresh chicken & duck eggs, hatching eggs, goat milk, artisanal goat cheese & fudge. Location: 14467 State Hwy M Irondale Mo
11. Hillside Vineyard & Orchard: They are a farmily-owned U-Pick and Pre-Pick business. Come visit and sample our apples, pears & grapes! Location: 12839 Old Hwy 8 East Mineral Point Mo
12. Fyre Lake Winery is a 20 acre property located in Cadet Mo. The Field Dinner will be located at Fyre Lake Winery Location: 12902 State Hwy 47 Cadet Mo
After the Tours Join us at the Field Dinner at Fyre Lake Winery. The dinner will be family style with local produce, locally made cheeses, local meats and fresh baked goods for desert. There will also be a charity silent auction to benefit the scholarships & grants give that night to the area students & farmers. The dinner will start at 5:30 at 12902 State Hwy 47 Cadet Mo.
