This site is a unit of the National Park Service. The park tells the stories of Ulysses S. Grant, Julia Dent Grant, and the enslaved African Americans who lived at this place in the mid-19th century. Visitors can tour White Haven, the historic home where Grant lived in the 1850s, watch a film about Grant's legacy, and explore museum exhibits in the historic stable. The park presents a variety of free programs, including a Junior Ranger program.
