Traditional Music Day

Music continually shapes who we are. This is as true now as it was 200 years ago! Join park staff at The Historic Daniel Boone Home on Saturday, May 20, as we explore the musical traditions of the Boone era and how they still can be found today. Listen to presentations on instruments such as the fiddle, banjo, and dulcimer. Bring your “old-time” instrument and join the jam session at the pavilion! Dress for the weather.

Admission to the Boone Home is $8 for adults, $6 for seniors ages 60 and up, and $5 for children ages 5–12. Active and retired military and children 4 and under are free.
