Help build a symbol of hope for our community.
This FREE, family-friendly event helps raise awareness and support for health resources offered through our St. Charles County BJC HealthCare facilities. To participate, join us at the Siteman Cancer Center - St. Peters on April 27. Ribbons and banners may be purchased in advance or at the event and can be inscribed with your personal message. The Ribbon will be displayed outside the Siteman Cancer Center.
As we build the Ribbon of Hope, our community partners in health services and various other vendors will be on site to meet you! Experience the mission of the Foundation through family-oriented entertainment, activities and educational opportunities facilitated by our community health partners. The event is free to attend and family friendly! Ribbons and T-shirts may be purchased in advance of the event via the form at the bottom of this page.
Your support helps fund efforts like:
- Necessary Patient Therapy Services at Siteman Cancer Center conducted during a patient’s chemotherapy treatments. These services include massage, music, horticulture and pet therapy.
- Transportation services for patients who need to receive treatment and are unable to travel on their own or need special accommodations to do so.
- Creating an opportunity to connect with local community members and partners to expand our healthful educational outreach to schools and various other community members.
- Provide hope to patients going through life changing treatments across BJC in St. Charles County.

ACTIVITIES – All activities are FREE
- Building our Ribbon of Hope (moment of silence at 1:00 pm)
- Purchase a ribbon to place on the field and honor a family member, friend or caregiver. Ribbons may be purchased in advance through our website or at the Foundation booth during the event.
- Join us on the ribbon field at 1:00 pm to honor and remember those who have battled and lost their fight.
- Tours of the Siteman Cancer Center – St. Peters
- The first tour will begin at 11:30 and the last tour will start at 2:30
- Heart Health Screenings
- Blood Drive provided by American Red Cross
- Prescription Give Back Opportunity
- Bring your old prescriptions to dispose of them safely and securely.
- Therapy services on site: message, horticulture, pet therapy and yoga!
- Join a basic, family friendly yoga session. No mats or special clothes required.
- Experience our message therapy and learn how these sessions help our patients.
- Get your hands a little dirty and join our partners from the Missouri Botanical Gardens in creating a fun take home item!
- Meet our Pet Therapy super stars, we know they’ll put a smile on your face.
- Family-friendly Activities: edible art, bounce house, face painting, balloon artists, DJ, photo booth and more!
