Local author, Lisa Gendron, will give a talk on her recently published book entitled Kennett Castle or Selma Hall and the Families Who Lived There. The castle was built prior to the Civil War and sits on a bluff overlooking the Mississippi River. Mrs. Gendron has done extensive research and interviews to put together a fascinating history on this mysterious county treasure. The program is free and open to the public. Registration is required.
