Juneteenth Celebration

Juneteenth, the holiday that commemorates the abolition of slavery in the US in 1865, is one of the country’s oldest and largest celebrations. Join us for an uplifting celebration of this nationally recognized holiday. The evening will include a presentation about the history and meaning of the Juneteenth holiday by Dr. James Tucker. empowering spoken word by Tracy Stanton, and a performance by Ballet 314. The celebration will end with a live performance by members of the St. Louis Symphony IN UNISON Chorus and St. Louis Symphony Orchestra.
