Indigenous Peoples' Day

*The event has already taken place on this date: Mon, 10/14/2024
Join us for a day of storytelling, interactive learning, and activities focused on native plants in celebration and appreciation of the Indigenous cultures of the St. Louis region. Programs throughout the day include stories about native plants and their medicinal uses, children’s activities, a frybread cooking demonstration, and jewelry-making. Be sure to visit Kernels of Culture: Maize Around the World at the Stephen and Peter Sachs Museum to explore the relationship of Indigenous peoples and the essential crop we know as corn.

Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.
