Chesterfield Earth Day

Chesterfield, in partnership with RedKey Realty, will host a variety of recycling efforts: 

• Paper Shredding (actual shredding will be done off site - maximum of 5 paper boxes per vehicle). 
• Electronics & small appliances (additional charge may apply)
  • MRC link to what is accepted and fees -What We Accept — MRC Electronics Recycling
• New/used clothing, linens, blankets, towels, belts, shoes, purses
• Clean, folded fabric, yarn
• Latex Paint Only - There will be a fee of $1 per pound to recycle. 
• American Flag recycling

Check back for additional recycling partners as they become available. 

In addition, there will be plants, seeds, trees and compost giveaways. 

• Free native trees will be available courtesy of MO Department of Conservation.
• Jost Greenhouse Wildflower giveaway for butterflies and pollinators.
• Butterfly-Hummingbird native wildflower seeds giveaway.   
• Composting will be given away in 3-yard waste bags or containers of compost per family on a first-come, first-serve basis. Please provide bags or a container for hauling.
• Chesterfield Citizens Environmental Advisory Committee (CCEAC) will have a tabletop of informational material.
