Join the SLSO for Christmas in Ireland. Multi-platinum Irish singing sensation Celtic Woman, Billboard's #1 World Music Artist of the Year six times, joins the orchestra for a joyful and captivating evening featuring some of the all-female ensemble’s favorite Yuletide songs. This dramatic collaboration combines centuries of Irish musical tradition with the thrill of a full symphonic orchestra, highlighting the artistry of the internationally recognized quartet.

Originally formed for a one-time event in Dublin in 2004, the reception to Celtic Woman’s performance immediately launched an acclaimed American tour. The group has since performed in 23 countries on six continents and has sold more than ten million CDs and DVDs.

Celtic Woman celebrates Ireland’s rich heritage with performances of traditional Irish classics, contemporary hits, and original songs. Their performances amplify Ireland’s culture, often incorporating Celtic instruments, including bagpipes, bodhran, tin whistle, bouzouki, and Uilleann pipes.

The group has appeared in many cultural touchpoints in American life, including at the 2009 National Christmas Tree Lighting, on ABC’s Dancing with the Stars, and in multiple episodes of the daytime drama The Bold and the Beautiful. They have also performed for three U.S. presidents.
