*The event has already taken place on this date: Wed, 02/18/2026
In commemoration of America's 250th anniversary, the St. Charles City-County Library is offering a wide variety of presentations and programs throughout the year, highlighting local, state, and national events, time periods, and cultural moments. Celebrate Black History Month and get psyched for Spring Training by joining us for a screening of the inspirational 2013 Jackie Robinson biopic "42". Stay after for a brief presentation and learn about Jackie Robinson's life, including his WW2 military service and his time playing baseball in Missouri for the Negro Leagues. Run Time: 128 minutes Popcorn and Water will be provided.
