Veteran's Day Ceremony in St. Peters

Guest speaker Col. Kevin Golinghorst has served over 27 years in the U.S. Army as an Engineer Officer. He served during Operation Iraqi Freedom and two tours of Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan. He has an undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering, a Masters in Defence Geographic Information, Military Arts and Science, and National Security and Strategic Studies.
Col. Golinghorst studied Civil Engineering at West Point, NY to focus on construction but also did a lot of ‘destruction with explosives’ as a young combat engineer leader and user of Geospatial products. He just recently completed a three year command of the St. Louis District of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineer (USACE) where geospatial capabilities are critical for navigation on inland waterways, flood risk management in the region, and emergency response across the Mississippi Valley.
Cultural Arts Centre is located at City Hall, One St. Peters Centre Blvd., St. Peters, MO. Refreshments will be served after the ceremony.
