Young Adult authors Ellen Hopkins ("People Kill People"), Brandy Colbert ("Finding Yvonne"), and NoNieqa Ramos ("The Disturbed Girl's Dictionary") discuss how they tackle issues vital to young adults.

Young Adult authors Ellen Hopkins, NYT bestselling author of “People Kill People”; Brandy Colbert, Springfield, Missouri-born award-winning author of “Finding Yvonne”; and NoNieqa Ramos, Bronx native and debut author of “The Disturbed Girl’s Dictionary,” discuss how they tackle issues vital to young adults – including violence, prejudice, relationships, and mental illness – in their works of fiction. This panel will be moderated by Young Adult Book Blogger Christina Hickey!

BookFest St. Louis is a celebration of the literary arts that will bring dozens of local, regional and national authors together for a one-day festival in the Central West End. Festival-goers will be able to enjoy author presentations, panel discussions, book signings and an array of family-friendly activities and programming throughout the day.
