Historic Shaw/Shaw Neighborhood Improvement Association

SNIA works with residents, elected officials, city departments and other community members to support programs, events, and other efforts in the Shaw neighborhood. Funding raised through the Shaw Art Fair, membership dues, grants, and donations support a variety of efforts, including our Helping Hands Grant program (micro-grants for programs serving Shaw residents), maintenance of vacant lots and gardens, trash clean-up by Covenant House's Garden Rangers program, Shaw Dog Park, Shaw Community Center at Mullanphy, and programs and events for residents of all ages.
