Miriam Foundation was chartered in 1910 as Miriam No. 17, a local chapter of the national organization United Order True Sis...ters, Inc. (UOTS). On its property in Webster Groves, Missouri, Miriam founded and operated the Rosa Bry Convalescent Home and Rehabilitation Program from 1914 until 1956.
Miriam School was established in 1956 to serve children with developmental disabilities. Since that time Miriam School's focus has evolved to serve children with complex learning disabilities.
In September 2007, Miriam Learning Center opened to provide services to children with learning disabilities and their families throughout the St. Louis metropolitan area.
Mission
Miriam improves the quality of life for children with learning disabilities and their families through innovative and comprehensive programs.
